Description
I painted this for my mom who passed away in 2002. I think she would like this place.
she owned a piece of land in the Laurentides and I remember a small waterfall that she loved and knew, This painting is of course an exaggeration of this magic dream. I believe that our thoughts are the real thing anyways. If you can see this...enjoy.

Oh, I can feel the mist and smell the forest-this really pulls me in. I'm so inspired to work with wax!--- I want to start melting some crayons.

I finally remembered the opening lines of that Idealist philosophical verse. Here it is, incase anybody is interested; actually I just want everybody to know that I DO remember things later,...sometimes! It goes like this: "There is no life, truth, intelligence, or substance in matter All is Infinate Mind, and its infinite manifestations For God is All-in All!!" What you do is slip those 3 lines in before the others and pretend that the others were typed in lines more like poetry. And I wanted to add that I've been working off-and-on on a waterfall for some time. May I just copy yours? Or I could send you the canvas and when you want to just mess around, doing something that you hesitate to call art, you can repeat something like this for me, because as you know, I have absolutely no qualms concerning veracity! And matter isn't real, anyway; just shadows of it that only artists can see and translate into forms that regular people can see, hear, etc., but don't touch, please. OK. I'll close now, full of envy for Libby!

I love your "Discussion." Thank you for it. And, yes, of course, As a great early American woman spiritualist said. "Spirit is real and eternal Matter is unreal and temporal. Spirit is God And we are created in God's image. Therefore, we are not material. We are spiritual!

Painting is like breathing for me. I Its hard to validate a creation when I can render so fast. I never think about what I do..just do..and trust..and this is a sample of the result. I don't consider it talent...I call it knowing..and trusting. I'm working on more laborious projects these days......but I slip these expressionistic pieces in for fun. I'm glad you appreciate.
