Hi Heather, Another stunning floral. Makes me recall a beautiful magnolia tree we had in our backyard that reacted to a false early spring. It fully blossomed, all those perfect, delicate flowers couldnt wait to burst out of winter. But the snows fell again, the lovely pink petals carpetted with that silence of white, never to bloom again. Paintings are so precious because they can both conceal and reveal memories we had long ago forgotten..Lets go back to the julep, sunnier, funnier times-- but this is a very lovely painting SUNS out tomorrow, we have had a totally grey, wet week. Off to sketch in the park tommorrow. By the way, the park with the squirrel is Westmount Park on Sherbrooke street, gorgeous place to paint. Sipping Julep,Carole

Incredible! How the energetic flowers nearly jump out at you. And the rest is as if looking down from a skyscraper. Beyond words. Only a few seconds look and you can FEEL it! Thank you, Heather. I get it all for free, as do all of us.
